What if Mike didn’t come back from Las Vegas? Maybe she could go back to Tony and he would let her live, but she doubted it. He wanted revenge and she had seen Tony that way before, he was ruthless. She was stuck here in Virginia City, or some other burg like it. Tony would never look for her here. She liked the bright lights and Tony knew it. He probably had people looking for her right now in L.A. and New York and the other places she liked to go. She was a prisoner in small town America.
Maybe she could make the most of it. She thought of Herbert Adams. He wanted to “court her”, his exact words, no one talked like that anymore. He was loaded, at least by Virginia City standards, and he was a bachelor in his seventies. When he died it would all be hers, a small time Anna Nicole Smith, only without a will contest. She would be the queen of Virginia City, the owner of most of its property, and its citizens would be her subjects. She wanted to take care of herself. Who could blame her for that?

talk about self absorbed…just look at the comments by Emmy Moortenson. Are you one of those people that is blessed with such a perfect life and so therefore can not imagine the genuineness of someone elses tragedies? Give me a break!!
